Mermay 2026 – Day Nineteen – Non Dominent Hand

Mermay 2026 – Day Nineteen – Non Dominent Hand

I was not looking forward to today’s prompt. I assumed that It meant to draw something left-handed. While I’m perfectly willing to try drawing something left-handed, I’m not going to paint left-handed.

I finally went with a picture of a mermaid drawing with her non-dominant hand. It turned out okay. I had a brief scare when I realized that Jennifer’s terrible self-portrait was potentially offensive. Fortunately, I caught myself before I did her lips.

I still had to touch up a few things in post.
