A Storm of Swords – Raven Loft

Sam goes to feed the ravens who all repeat the name, Snow.
This one is kind of a throwback to my Game of Thrones illustration of Jon and Maester Aemon. At least, as far as the raven cages are concerned. This time, the cages are in the foreground, where I tried to do some interesting things with the perspective.

The biggest problem with it was between the shadows, the ravens, and the Night’s Watch’s choice of wardrobe, there was a lot of black here. My pen died halfway through drawing it.
