Game of Thrones – Your Oath
I’m so glad I remembered to read the whole scene this time. This is especially true with this scene where Maester Aemon tells Jon the story of how times he honored his oath to the Night’s Watch over his family and the kingdom. I had remembered the way they did it on the show and imagined it in Aemon’s study with Aemon looking up from his desk. While I was trying to choose who’s point of view to use, I reread the scene. It turned out the conversation happened while they are feeding the ravens.
Close call there.
