Everwood 2026 – Day Fifteen – Ball
The idea for this picture came to me quickly. Once I had the image of a fiddler leading the dance. I also had the idea for a voltage. A grove of trees is surrounding the dance like a cathedral.
As far as execution is concerned, I’m very happy with how smoothly it all went. My only problem with it is the dancers, who are a mess. Another example of putting too much detail in a challenge that is supposed to take less than an hour and a half. Fortunately, since they’re in the background, I can claim it’s a depth-of-field thing. Otherwise, it’s another one I will put in the rough draft for a much better piece pile.
