Everwood 2026 – Day Nine – Brambles
Today’s prompt shows two statues covered in thick brambles,
This was one of those ones with too much detail and fiddly bits that I had a bad feeling I would be working on it well into the evening.
So, I was pleasantly surprised when everything started coming together, becoming what I will safely consider one of the best ones of this group so far.
On a side note, this turned into another piece of world-building. The ruins shown in these pictures have shown evidence of at least three lost cultures. I’m not sure if these statues are from any of the ones I’ve shown so far. (Unless this one counts) The figures here represent two figures known as the Lord and the Lady. No one knows if they were real people or not, but many statues of them have been found.
