Everwood 2026 – Day One – Forest
It’s that time of the year again: the Halloween Everwood art challenge!
For those of you who are new here, the Everwood is a vast, dark forest. It’s so vast that it transcends reality, making it very easy for people and things to fall through the cracks. If you happen to be one of those sad few who fall through the cracks, for the love of God, stay on the path!
In the past, I would give myself a narrative framing device. I had mixed opinions about whether it worked or constrained my creativity. This year I don’t have any idea for one, though that may change depending on my Muse’s desires.
Anyway, for our starting prompt, forest, we have an establishing shot of the Everwood. Walking up the path are a band of goblins we saw briefly last year.
