Mermay 2026 – Day Sixteen – Booktok

“Booktok” was one of those prompts that I had to look up. After I found out it was book reviewers on TikTok, I thought of the perfect way to do it.

Winifred has always been the intellectual of the group and is frequently seen reading. So it made sense to have her be the one recommending books. I added her sister, Jennifer, to record her.

I briefly had my personal nitpick about mermaids and technology. But since I already had Jennifer having a “Shell Phone,” I figured she could use it to record her sister.
