Owls!

For the last couple of years, I’d been increasingly frustrated that I had not seen the nesting pair of Barred Owls that live in nearby Ravenna Park or their children. Several weeks ago, someone told me the obvious reason. I’d been going to look far too early! As a result, I began taking my evening walk between seven and nine. At first, I had no luck. But finally, last night I saw all three of the fledglings flying around the trail.

I apologize that these are not particularly good pictures. There is only so much you can do with your phone camera in dim light.
