Mermay 2023 – Day Thirty-Three – Pet

Okay, this one’s the last one. (Or at least the last one under the Mermay label)

Last year, based on the prompt I gave Camie a pet Moray eel named Kelly. However, one of the things I’ve been trying to do is put Herschel Cove firmly in the Salish Sea. I’m not aware of any species of Moray getting farther north than Los Angeles.

Because of this, I traded the Moray in for the northern equivalent of a Wolf Eel. I think they’re cute in a British Bulldog kind of way.
