Sansa remembers Sandor’s rescue of her during the riot. When she tries to thank him, he reacts harshly and once again tells her that no true knight would ever be as good as the songs say.

Once again this is a scene that has me wondering about Sandor. At first glance, this just seems like him rubbing his cynicism in Sansa’s face.
