Game Of Thrones – Get The Business Done
I’m not going to lie. Chapter 16 is one of my least favorite chapters in all of A Game of Thrones. If you weren’t clued in yet that Westeros is a cruel and petty place, this will spell it out for you. The only thing that makes it bearable is it’s Ned’s point of view. If it was either Arya and Sansa it would be traumatic. Still best to get the business done.
I did not want to do the death of Sansa’s dire wolf, Lady. But after that, it’s either the build-up to her death or Sandor Clegane bringing back the body of Micah the butcher’s boy. I settled for going with just before all of that when Ned still thinks he can talk some sense into everybody.
“Why was I not told that my daughter had been found?” Ned demanded, his voice ringing. “Why was she not brought to me at once?”
