Game of Thrones – Arya Underfoot
Strangely, I find myself enjoying the flashbacks in this Game of Thrones the most. Perhaps, it’s because it yields better material that is otherwise nothing but dialogue. Anyway, here’s one of Arya’s flashbacks to better times in Winterfell. We’re shown one of the reasons that one of Arya’s many nicknames is “underfoot”. It’s because of her frequently underestimated people skills, and desire to make new friends and learn everything about everybody.
I added Nymeria to crank up the sentimentality.
She had loved listening to the men on the benches too; to freeriders tough as leather, courtly knights and bold young squires, grizzled old men-at-arms.
