Mermay Day Seven – Tranquil
I’ve found a lot of this year’s Mermay prompts are really abstract. Today’s prompt, “tranquil” was no exception. I went with what I considered tranquil which along with getting deliberately lost in the woods were long canoe rides through the lilypads in the Pemaquid River.
Admittedly this means technically I failed the challenge today since due to the presence of fresh water, this wouldn’t be a mermaid but a Melusine or someone similar.
