Game of Thrones – Bran’s Prayers

I’m really happy with how today’s Illustration, where Bran says prayers for his family in the Godswood, turned out.

I was mostly inspired by John Bauer’s Princess Tuvstarr illustration. Though the reflection doesn’t work quite as well in Pen & Ink. If I do this over, I think I’ll move Bran lower down. That way the Godswood will seem more overpowering.

As far as this series is concerned, there’s a bit of a continuity error here. In my previous godswood picture, the heart tree is much closer to the pool. I thought it would be creepier if it looked as if it was spying on Bran from behind the other trees. … and we haven’t seen them NOT move.
