Mermay 2025 – Day Twenty-Nine – Wicked

At first, all of the ways to do today’s prompt seemed to be obvious. But after a while, the idea of a mermaid (Cleo, naturally), trying on a wicked witch’s hat grew on me.

I think this is another one of those “it works better as a rough draft” ones. I think I rushed it and didn’t get Cleo’s reflection right.
