Mermay 2025 – Day Twenty-Seven – Oasis

I thought of my picture for today’s prompt the instant I scanned the list a month ago. It would be a perfect “Doris gets lost” picture. After all, how lost can a mermaid be if she finds herself in an oasis?

I may have rushed this one a little, but for the most part, I still like it. It doesn’t feel quite as cruel as several of the Doris pictures I’ve done in the past.
