Mermay 2025 – Day Twenty-Two – Psychedelic
“Psychedelic” was another prompt that had me stumped. This was mainly because there were too many options, and most of them were too vague to be clear. I finally decided to just wing it. I was pleasantly surprised with how it turned out.
The other good thing about this was that it allowed me to field test Ophelia. This picture allowed me to tone down some of the more problematic areas of her neurodivergence, making her more than merely the “crazy mermaid“. Or at least it made her more nuanced.
