Mermay 2025 Day Four Axolotl

Technically, I wasn’t stumped by today’s prompt. I just planned to have an axolotl as either Cammie’s pet or toy. I only had one problem with. This was because all of the versions I made reminded me too much of previous pictures.

I solved the problem by putting in multiple axolotls. I still had the problem of axolotls being a freshwater animal. But then I reminded myself that mermaids are fantasy and not to overthink it.
