Everwood 2024 – Day Seventeen – Fish

As Almethea and Gethwine enjoy a fish dinner, they attract the attention of something bigger.

This one took more effort than I expected. At first, I was just going with a generic monster fish. But I couldn’t come up with a composition I liked until I came up with this bigger fish image.

After that, I went with another attempt to emulate John Bauer using an olive green monochrome underwash. I’m pleased with how well it turned out. My only problem is how the lighting of the fire worked, and the detail with Almethea and Gethwine.

I’ll just say it’s soft focus.
