Everwood 2024 – Day Seven – Trap

A trapper gets a surprise when he doesn’t find a rabbit in his trap.

I was briefly stumped on how to do this one. It’s a prompt that has come up multiple times over the years. I briefly considered doing something in conjunction with the “temptation” prompt. But it didn’t work as well as I anticipated.

Once I decided that the trap already caught something it wrote itself. Let’s hope the manticore doesn’t notice who set the trap!
