Mermay 2023 – Day Thirteen – Coconut

Today’s prompt, coconut was surprisingly hard to come up with.

The reason is I have an unwritten rule that in these challenges it has to be clear that the picture is a mermaid. If a mermaid is waist-deep in the water, I technically don’t know she’s a mermaid. She could be a skinny-dipping elf. And since all of my ideas involved a mermaid on the coast to try to get at a coconut. (Or if Doris was involved, avoiding falling coconuts.)

I finally came up with Camie enjoying a coconut drink (don’t worry, it’s just milk.) in full view.

I kept Doris avoiding coconuts in the background.
