Mermay 2024 – Day One – Lei

Mermay has begun again starting with the first prompt, lei.

There are quite a few Hawaiian-themed prompts in this year’s prompt list. I admit I have quite a few problems with it, but I’ll do my best.

I’d been hoping to have more of a narrative this year. I think I can use those Hawaii prompts to do a vacation storyline with Camie, the little purple mermaid, having a great time, and her big sister Doris being miserable as always.

So here we have Camie trying on a lei when she should be packed and out the door.
