A Storm of Swords – Dragon Statues

Davos looks at, the dragon statues and the gargoyles of Dragonstone’s towers when Salladhor Saan comes up behind him, seemingly reading his mind with his own comment about them.

I’m not sure how well the towers came out. I never found a good description of the drum tower. All I know about it is it has gargoyles and it’s dark and spooky. I’ve never been able to give myself a good image of Dragonstone in my head as I can for Winterfell and The Eyrie.

“If the red woman brings them to life, the castle will come crashing down, I am thinking. What kind of dragons are full of rooms and stairs and furniture? And windows. And chimneys. And privy shafts.”
