Mermay 2023 – Day Twenty-One – Body Positive

Today’s prompt, “body positive” confused me. After all, I’m doing pictures of nudists, aren’t all mermaids body positive?

I confess I jumped to certain cynical assumptions regarding what the prompt really meant, and after a bit of grumbling, I decided to run with it.

Due to my setting, I haven’t done many new mermaids. Having said that I like this one. Perhaps I’ll use her again. In an interesting bit of serendipity, even though I meant to make her orange, she came out having the same coral-pink coloring as Vivian.

Perhaps they’re part of the same family.
