Mermay 2023 – Day Eighteen – Deep Sea

I hardly had to be creative for today’s prompt, “Deep Sea”. The first thing that occurred to me was a mermaid, most likely Doris, diving into the abyss.

Of course why the Eyore of my band of mermaids is leaving Herschel Cove to go to the depths, is another question altogether. She’s gone on these forays before, usually due to extreme embarrassment.

For now, let’s assume that the previous scene with her didn’t go well.
