A Storm of Swords – The Party

Arya and Sandor slip into the “downstairs” party next to the Twins. Here, we see a combination of soldiers preparing and everybody else partying.
This was a fun scene, but it was also one of those paragraphs where Mr. Martin has far too much going on in it, if I’d done everything, I would have a picture covering a huge wall painting or 10 separate pictures. I ended up doing my favorite detail, which was the House Myatt armsman chasing a giggling prostitute.
In hindsight, I think I’m as bad at picking up on clues as Arya is. For example, I am comfortably sure those archers I did not draw, weren’t there for anybody’s defense. So, perhaps I should’ve done more with the extra details after all.
But then… nothing wrong with a little bit of levity before the countdown to the inevitable occurs.

She saw a half-dressed girl burst from a tent laughing, but the tent was pale blue, not grey like she’d thought at first, and the man who went running after her wore a treecat on his doublet, not a wolf.
