A Storm of Swords – Mycah

A Storm of Swords – Mycah

Sandor’s “you’re blaming me for being named Clegane” defense against the Brotherhood’s kangaroo court starts strong. That is until Arya accuses him of murdering her friend Mycah.

This was one of those pictures where I had the image in my head almost the second I read the scene. I only noticed what was wrong with it when I started work on the rest of the scene. That was when I realized Sandor wasn’t wearing his armor.

In the last chapter, I could claim ignorance. Here, Sandor accuses Beric of forcing him to fight in his trial by combat without any. I fixed it in post, but big unforced errors like that always annoy me.

While fixing everything I also brought back Sandor’s doggy tunic. Mr. Martin didn’t say he wasn’t wearing, it after all.

Arya squirted past Greenbeard so fast he never saw her. “You are a murderer!” she screamed. “You killed Mycah, don’t say you never did. You murdered him!”
The Hound stared at her with no flicker of recognition. “And who was this Mycah, boy?”
