A Storm of Swords – Bowl of Brown

Tyrion and Bronn leave the meeting with Symon Silvertongue. Tyrion gives Bronn instructions on how to handle this problem. Bronn tells Tyrion how he’s going to dispose of the body at a local pot shop.

My first idea for this was to have Bronn and Tyrion walk by a pot shop. Unfortunately, the angle didn’t work from any position, either having the pot shop in the background or showing Bronn and Tyrion through the pot shop’s window. I inevitably went with just a picture of the Pot Shop.

Admittedly, this was tricky as well. For one thing, if you do a Google image search for a pot shop, a medieval greasy spoon is not the first thing that’s going to come up. When I did find articles about medieval cooking, especially ones about perpetual stew, I never found anything larger than a small cauldron. Nothing like the huge pots described in Game of Thrones. These are the times when you have no choice but to wing it.
