A Storm of Swords – The Ghost of High Heart
The Brotherhood Without Banners arrives at High Heart to get advice from the mysterious so-called ghost.
This one was a fun one. Though, It is an example of my recurring frustration with Mr. Martin’s lack of details. Yes, we know she’s a tiny ancient albino woman with long white hair with a black cane. But would it have killed Mr. Martin to tell us what she’s wearing? As far as the little details are concerned, I’m pretty sure that her height is proportional rather than having stunted limbs like a dwarf with Achondroplasia. I assume this because Arya calls her tiny rather than flat-out saying she’s a dwarf.
This could help the popular theory that the Ghost is secretly one of the children of the forest with her albinism allowing her to pass as a human, albeit a very short one.
