Alone in the woods after the wight attack, Sam begs for mercy from whatever god will listen to him.

Since this is Sam’s first chapter, I thought I’d start with an establishing shot. I know Sam’s a nice guy, but in this scene, it’s hard not to take the side of every single person who’s bullied him all his life.
