Mermay 2022 – Day Twenty-Four – Social Butterfly
Social Butterfly is one of those terms that I’m aware of but don’t actually use. Because of that, it took a little time to figure out the image. The hardest part about it was in order to show somebody being social. So, I needed to have several people they could socialize with.
After that, I needed to pick the mermaid who was the social butterfly. I went with a mermaid who made her first appearance last year. At the time, I named her Mako. This was because she was the only one with a shark-like tail rather than the usual scaled one. I’ve been thinking that was too obvious ever since.
So, today I’m officially renaming her Ridley.
Since she was mostly a background mermaid last year I didn’t have much to go on. However, she seemed outgoing enough for me to add her being a social butterfly to my description of her as I start to flesh her out.
