Mermay 2022 – Day Twenty-Two – Virtual World
“Virtual World” was another, in my mind, pointless annoying prompt for me. We already had “cyberpunk” this year and one snippet of science fiction was enough for one year. I compromised by making my entire setting a virtual world with the “real” Winifred interacting with the virtual mermaids.
It’s okay as a composition, I guess. But, as a painting, it feels like a cluttered mess. So, definitely not the best piece of this year’s challenge.
