During the meeting with the guilds, the head assassin looks into Wonse’s eyes and sees someone who wants to die.

As I mentioned earlier with the priest of Blind Io, we don’t actually know who the head assassin is. The continuity hasn’t quite kicked in yet, so all of the city counselors are generic. Having said that, I don’t see any reason why he is not Dr. Cruces, who makes his first official appearance in Men at Arms.

He hoped he would never, he said, ever have to look into eyes like that again.
