Carrot and Nobby arrive at the most disreputable bar in Ankh-Morpork, the Mended Drum. This also gave me the chance to draw the Librarian for the first time. Beyond being a 300-pound adult male orangutang, the only description Mr. Pratchett gives is that he lacks the standard phalanges that real adult male orangutans have. I suppose it’s something with the magic that made him an ape, to begin with. Fortunately, I have a lot of experience drawing orangutans.
