Guards! Guards! Carrot

For our next illustration, we have our other main character, Carrot Ironfoundersson, on his way to Ankh Morpork.

I was originally thinking of having Carrot’s first appearance with his father, being told he was not a dwarf. However, I really couldn’t find enough information to work with. It was one of those scenes where two characters are talking and do not see any need to say anything else. Besides, I wanted to get back to Ankh Morpork as quickly as possible.

So, here’s a nice forest scene, of Carrot’s travels. I wanted to put in more dangerous things, such as a cringing wolf, but it already felt too crowded.
