Drawlloween 2021 – Day Twenty-Three – Owl Be Back

I’m never going to pass up the opportunity to draw an owl. The problem is giving them a good Halloween twist. (I’m a slightly enthusiastic amateur birdwatcher. The only time I’ll be frightened of them is if I’m too close to their nest when they have a clutch.) Fortunately, since I’ve been having an interest in UFO lore lately. So, I’ve come to the conclusion that most close encounters were owls frightened when someone shined a flashlight at them. I tried to capture that in pen and ink.
