Mermay 2021 – Day Twenty-Nine – Coral

There’s not much challenge to the prompt, Coral, it’s the same as half the other pictures I do except coral has to be the emphasis rather than just the background. To keep things interesting I had it feature a lionfish mermaid.

It’s a little weird, or at least inconsistant, in my “Mermaids of Herschel Cove” that while Herschel Cove appears to be either somewhere Downeast or Vancouver Island, most of the underwater scenes are coral reefs.
