Mermay 2021 -Day Twenty-Seven – Insane
I hedged a bit on today’s prompt, “Insane”. Not being quite neurotypical myself, I’m a little touchy on the subject. Besides I wasn’t sure what would be insane. Perhaps I’ve let myself get a little too trapped in the “Mermaids of Herschel Cove” continuity, but I’ve been reluctant to make new mermaids. However having my cast reacting to something insane, didn’t seem to work. (For a while I was considering a rabid fish.)
Ultimately, I gave up and went with a one-off mermaid. I’m quite happy with her, though I’m reluctant to use her again.
