Mermay 2021 – Day Twenty-Six – Saved
As a cheat, I frequently look prompts up on Google Images to see what everyone else thought of. It usually doesn’t help much. For example, today’s prompt, saved, gave me an entire page of crucifixes. I went with mermaids saving a manatee.
I was really happy with this one. Not in an egotistical way, but in a staring at it for a minute in a “I can’t believe I did this way”. (Okay, when I say it out loud it’s kind of egotistical) I started getting a bit braver about using washes.
These two twin mermaids first appeared last year, considering their color, I don’t know if they’re related to Vivian, or if one of them IS Vivian. For the time being, I’ll ignore this until I think they actually fit in the Mermaids of Herschel Cove setting.
