Second Shot Out of The Way
Well after a month and a half of waiting I finally got my second shot! It was a long process, first the wait to be eligible at all. Then the ever so frustrating search for places that weren’t booked solid and within biking distance. (At a certain point I found myself dragging my feet and coming up with excuses not to bother that would put an anti-vaxxer to shame!)
Fortunately, once I got my appointment at the University of Washington’s medical division, things started going like clockwork. The first one went without a hitch and no symptoms (not counting what my overactive imagination came up with), and today, three weeks later the second was even easier! Now all I have to do is wait out the final two weeks and I can start socializing for real again!
