Mermay 2021 – Day Six – Sunday
Today’s prompt, Sunday, was one of the prompts that had me considering tossing the prompt list in the trash. For a while, I couldn’t think of a way to separate “Sunday” from the religious context. What was I supposed to do? Do a picture of mermaids at church? If you know your folklore, you’ll know mermaids could be driven away by church bells!
Finally, I went with Sunday meaning the day mermaids come to the surface to appreciate the sun.
On a side note, I finally discovered Clip Studio Paint’s answer to the clone stamp which allowed me to correct the size of Winifred’s head and erase an arm that was completely out of joint.
