“I love to say your name. Tyrion Lannister. It goes with mine. Not the Lannister, t’other part. Tyrion and Tysha. Tysha and Tyrion. Tyrion. My lord Tyrion . . .”

A Clash of Kings Chapter 66 – Tyrion

On his sickbed Tyrion dreams of his wife Tysha with nostalgia and regret.

Considering what Tyrion is going through right now, it nice to give him one nice memory.

One of my biggest problems with the show (before season five) is the subject of Tysha. She only comes up once in Tyrion’s conversation with Bronn in season one. In the book, Tyrion is obsessing about her constantly. I understand that internal monologue doesn’t work very well on live television. I think It could have been mentioned enough times for everyone to remember her. Especially since the reveal about her in the next book is the reason Tyrion kills his father.
