After reading eight pages of Davos standing on the deck of Black Betha, I almost missed this bit. Yet again I let my memories of the television show steer my perceptions on how the pacing of the battle of Blackwater Bay went. This is why, when you’re getting information to illustrate a scene, you should always read chapters twice.
