Jon sees the wildling camp in a wolf dream. There he sees a giant riding a mammoth.
I was very happy to get the chance to draw a giant. I mostly stuck to the way the giants look in the show with a little help from a youtube essay by Trey the Explainer. Based on what is described, I wasn’t sure if a mammoth would be large enough to carry a giant. But I assume Mr. Martin’s fantasy mammoths aren’t technically the same as the real thing. Just the same way I don’t think a Direwolf is a Dire Wolf.
