A Clash of Kings Chapter 39 – Catelyn

Brienne takes service as Catelyn’s liegeman… or whatever Catelyn wants of her. Neither of the two can really wrap their heads around the concept… Feminism is still an alien concept in Westeros.

Once again this is quite a different scene than the show, for one thing, it happens indoors. I like how Brienne dwarfs Catelyn, even when she’s kneeling. Having said that, I think I should have put Catelyn a little farther back. She feels crammed into the format.
