A Clash of Kings – Threats
Tyrion Lannister raised an eyebrow. “I am not threatening the king, ser , I am educating my nephew. Bronn, Timmet, the next time Ser Boros opens his mouth, kill him.“ The dwarf smiled. “Now that was a threat, ser. See the difference?“
A Clash of Kings – Chapter 32 – Sansa
I was looking forward to Tyrion coming to Sansa’s rescue and teaching Ser Boros Blount the definition of threats. The problem is that there really isn’t enough room for everything that’s going on. It’s Sansa’s point of view so she should be the center of the picture but there are so many other figures as well. In order to make Bronn the threat he is, I had to leave Sandor out. (Just pretend he’s standing directly to Bronn’s left. And finally as is always the case with any scene involving the Iron Throne, there was no room for Joffrey.
On a side note, I’m still waiting to find the sentence, “Bronn swaggered into the room with his brand new armor” to show up. Until then, I still have him wearing the ring mail he’s been wearing since Game of Thrones. Perhaps he’s keeping it so his opponents underestimate him.
