A Clash of Kings – Chapter 16 – Bran
Bran has been hearing his lords’ petitions all day. Everyone wants to know about Lady Donella Hornwood who lost her husband in the battle of the Whispering Wood. She has been threatened by Ramsey Snow, the Bastard of Bolton who wants her land. Everybody wants to offer themselves as a new husband for her. Partially for her own good, but much more that they want her property as much as Ramsey does.
Later at supper, she arrives and speaks for herself. This was a fun one to do. My only problem with it was Mr. Martin didn’t make it clear if this took place in the solar, or if they’d moved on to the great hall.
