A Clash of Kings – Archives
As a bibliophile, I am totally on Sam’s side as he geeks about the archives at Castle Black. This is one of the great examples of how Mr. Martin makes Westeros an alien world. From the eyes of the average Westerosi, Jon is the sensible one here. From our modern view, this is about as dumb as he gets.
I was pretty happy with how well this one turned out. Unfortunately, I had a better idea right at the halfway point of drawing this. It was going to be a bird’s eve view of Jon and Sam and it would have shown much more of the archives’ vault.
