My New Toy/Investment
After hearing friends and colleagues raving about it and dragging my feet for over a year, I finally did it… I got an Ipad pro.
The main plan is for its primary purpose is to use it as a tablet and hopefully, double my speed. So far, after being distracted by a lot of the other perks the tablet provides is working well.
At the moment there are a few bugs in the “use it as a tablet” plan. There’s a noticeable lag time, that I’m sure I can figure out soon enough. Fortunately, this has no effect on the main reason I bought it. To do a whole lot of images from scratch. Spending a little too much time figuring out the basic of the main drawing app, Procreate, I’m cranking out product fast.
Here’s my first ambitious piece, to measure my learning curve. It’s a quick tribute to one of my favorite characters from Iain M Banks‘ Culture series, the extremely cuddly avatar of the Culture warship (demilitarized) Xenophobe.
