Inktober 2019 – Day Twenty-Four – Dizzy

Inktober 2019 – Day Twenty-Four – Dizzy

When I first saw today’s prompt, I decided to use it as a synonym for vertigo and draw something with someone standing above a long drop. None of the thumbnails did anything for me. However, I happened to be doing my annual tribute to Dizzy Gillespie in Rhapsodies and I thought why not. It means I’ve now done three pictures of ghosts for this sketch challenge but I’m happy with it.

A brief comment in hindsight. What little I know about South Carolina folk tradition aside, I do not know if Dizzy or Afro-Cuban Jazz has anything to do with Voodoo. I put Maman Brigitte in the background to give the picture a more Halloween vibe.

Sorry.
